News Release

Investigators have advised that this event was a targeted shooting and appears to be related to the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict and the injured person was the target.  There is no ongoing threat to the general public from this incident.

The Delta Police are also working with the Surrey RCMP who have recovered a burned vehicle in the Bridgeview area that is suspected of being related to the shooting in Delta.

Investigators are seeking witnesses and surveillance video of this event. If you have information regarding this shooting, or surveillance or dash camera video from the area, please contact the Delta Police at (604)946-4411 and reference TIP file number 2022-25030.

There will be traffic disruptions in the residential area of 92A Avenue and 117th Street, with the intersection closed due to the investigation.  The public is asked to avoid the area as passage through is blocked for the next few hours.
