Policing is truly a career like no other. Officers are called upon to manage situations at an instant when most are running in the opposite direction.
Police Support Staff
Police staff perform a key role in helping to keep Delta safe. They are often the first contact with the public, help officers analyze crime trends, or offer support during trauma.
Experienced Police Officers (Exempts)
Thinking of making the switch from another Canadian police force? DPD is known for providing innovative training to support our officers, as well as top-notch equipment.
Delta Police Reserve Constables are uniformed, trained volunteers who participate in community policing and crime prevention activities while under the direct supervision of a police officer.
Our volunteers are based out of our District Community Policing Offices, and contribute in a variety of ways, such as Speed Watch, bike patrols, home security checks and more. Training is provided.
